Your privacy is the core reason MaskMail exists. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and — most importantly — what we don't do with it.
What We Collect
Temporary Email Data
- When you generate a temporary email, we create a random email address and store incoming messages for a maximum of 30 minutes
- After expiration, the inbox and all associated emails are permanently deleted — no backups, no archives, no recovery
- We do not read, scan, or analyze the content of your emails
What We Do NOT Collect
- No account registration — We never ask for your name, real email, phone number, or any personal information
- No cookies for tracking — We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers
- No IP address logging — We don't store your IP address with your temporary inbox
- No browser fingerprinting — We don't create unique identifiers based on your browser
How Your Data Is Protected
- All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- Temporary inboxes are isolated — no one can access your inbox without knowing the exact email address
- Automated deletion runs every minute, permanently removing expired data
- No data is shared with, sold to, or accessed by third parties
Third-Party Services
MaskMail uses minimal third-party services:
- Hosting infrastructure — Our servers process and temporarily store emails. No third-party email providers are involved
- DNS providers — Standard DNS services route email to our servers
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising/tracking services.
Data Retention
- Temporary emails: Deleted automatically after 30 minutes
- Email content: Deleted with the inbox — no copies retained
- Attachments: Deleted with the inbox — no copies retained
- Server logs: Minimal operational logs are kept for 24 hours for debugging purposes only, then permanently deleted
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, most data protection rights (access, correction, deletion) are automatically satisfied. However:
- You can delete your temporary inbox at any time by clicking the "Delete" button
- All data is automatically deleted after 30 minutes regardless
- No action is required from you — privacy is the default, not an option
Children's Privacy
MaskMail does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Our service does not require any personal information, making it inherently safe for all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Our commitment to not collecting personal data will not change.
